The US Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) helps agencies meet DoD requirements for secure cloud computing. While SCCA is designed for DoD agencies, it may be applicable for other federal use cases, such as Trusted Internet Connections (TIC) 3.0 and Cloud Access Points (CAP).
Palo Alto Networks has collaborated with Microsoft to produce a turnkey network security offering in Azure that meets SCCA guidelines for high impact level (IL) workloads. This Secure Azure Computing Architecture (SACA) deploys rapidly, reduces operations and maintenance effort and protects mission-owner applications hosted in Azure. Palo Alto Networks VM-Series next-generation firewalls fulfill the Virtual Data Center Security Stack (VDSS) component of SCCA while offering additional security protections, including data loss prevention, DNS security, zero-day malware prevention and more.
