Last week 600 members of our sales organization and selected employees from other departments gathered in Santa Clara, Calif., for our annual sales kickoff. We spent most of that time discussing cybersecurity and what we can do to continue to help protect our customers from new and sophisticated cyberthreats. But we also took a break for an afternoon to give back to our local community – something that’s very important to all of us at Palo Alto Networks.
We took part in a bike-building program to benefit underprivileged teens through the Boys & Girls Club of Silicon Valley. We assembled more than 70 bikes during the afternoon and a handful of kids joined us to receive them. It humbled us to see the looks on their faces and the immediate impact these activities can have.
